Lenten Prayer Experience
Sanctuary
FLC Cleanup Day
There is a workday in the Family Life Center this Saturday (March 13th) from 9-Noon. We need help from everybody. If you are 9 or 99 there is something that you can do to help get the Family Life Center ready for the April 11 unveiling.
A nursery will be available for you so come if you can give 30 minutes or 3 hours. We need lots of hands to do lots of things. Your skill level doesn’t matter – we have a job that fits. We need people to clean, sort, move, dust, paint, remove paint, and dust.
All of the supplies will be there so we just need you to show up and provide your hands.
If you have any questions, please contact Paul Martin 901-299-9243.
Lenten Prayer Experience
Offered to you during every Sunday in Lent (6 - 8 p.m.), a Lenten Prayer Experience offers participants a wide variety of prayer practices. Throughout the color-filled and candle-lit sanctuary there are over 20 stations that enable every person to interactively experience silence, reflection, and prayer. We encourage you to attend and encounter God in an atmosphere of solitude. Let it also serve as an opportunity to invite a friend!!!
MIFAST for MIFA
This year First Baptist is encouraging its congregation to participate in MIFAST for MIFA on March 27. MIFA is asking the community to give up the cost of two meals on March 27 and donate the cost to the less fortunate. On Sunday, March 28, a special offering will be taken up at the end of morning worship and sent to MIFA. For more information go to: www.mifa.org/mifast
