First Laotian

Thi - Thi - Laotian Pastor

First Laotian Baptist Church is an English-speaking second generation Asian American ministry.  What began as an outreach to Laotian refugees in the mid-70s, the church continued to grow under the leadership of Phimphone Phetvixay for the next three decades.

Today pastor Thi Mitsamphanh leads the church in a new direction as they reach out to a younger generation of English speaking Asian Americans.   A multi-ethnic congregation meets weekly for a contemporary worship service on Sunday morning.  RENEW, a recreational outreach mixed with bible study, meets on Wednesday nights.

Along with these regular events, FLBC seeks to disciple and equip its members through retreats, fellowship outings, and service projects throughout the year.  Check out our calendar and see what we are up to!  If this sounds like a place for you we invite you to come and worship with us.  For more information please feel free to contact our pastor at or 901-359-6368.

Recently Thi led the activities at World Refugee Day here at First Memphis.
