Lenten Prayer Experience
Sanctuary

Below are just some of the annual Family Ministry events that are designed to keep families talking, learning, and growing in Christ.
Wednesday Night Dinner
Every Wednesday night we encourage families to gather and dine in the fellowship hall. Wednesday nights are conversational, intergenerational, and provide just one more opportunity to show our love for one another.
Family Movie Nights
Among the many activities we offer, our Family Movie Nights are a favorite. So pull up a lawn chair or a blanket out on our church lawn and come watch a movie on the big screen.
Trunk or Treat
On Saturday evening before Halloween (except for 2009 because Halloween is on a Saturday) we encourage our membership to decorate their car trunks, fill them up with surprises, and welcome the large turnout of neighborhood friends that come out for a family-oriented night. All of our children dress up for this event and have a wonderful time playing games, jumping in the inflatable games, and participating in crafts.
The Great Lent Event and ADVENTure Lunch
The season of Lent and the season of Advent are very special times in the life of the church. Our desire is to educate our children about these meaningful times of the year. During both of these events, we encourage our entire congregation to enjoy lunch following the worship service followed by an optional craft. Children love creating beautiful crosses and advent wreathes.
Ice Cream Gatherings
Summers are hot in Memphis and we try to cool it down by providing ice cream socials. It’s another event that provides an opportunity for conversations to take place between our children and adults.
I would like to encourage everyone to make the season of Lent a meaningful time. The season beckons a person to ... more...
