  Church Membership

  If you are looking for a church like First Baptist Church, we would gladly welcome you to worship and serve God with us. There are several ways you may join First Baptist Church:

(1) By profession of faith and baptism.

(2) By transferring your membership from another Baptist church.

(3) By statement of your previous experience in Christ and baptism.

(4) By watchcare (while you are too far away to attend your own church).

  Any of our ministers would be pleased to answer questions you might have regarding membership.
Each of us is called to follow God, and to enter into a loving relationship with our Creator. God’s plan for bridging the gulf between Divine perfection and our own sinfulness is through Jesus Christ.

God’s Plan for Becoming a Christ-Follower

God’s plan calls you to do the following:
   •Admit that you are a sinner,
     There is non righteous, not even one. (Romans 3:10)

   •Accept God’s love for you.
     God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8)

   •Acknowledge Christ as Lord.
     If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. (Romans 10:9)
