Serving

There are many opportunities through First Memphis for you to get involved with serving our local community and supporting missions abroad.  Please take a look below to see how you can help transform lives.

  • Rachel's Kids, Inc. - Harry and Rachel, of Rachel's Kids, have gone beyond saying 'love your neighbor.'  They have found a way to show them.

The goal of Rachel’s Kids Inc. is to ease human suffering where they can, and to provide opportunities for sustainable development, dignity, and improved quality of life for children in the inner city neighborhoods of Memphis. The sole focus of the effort is directed towards the children of the Binghampton section near Midtown Memphis.

First Memphis seeks to organize church-wide efforts to support this wonderful ministry and to become more involved.

David and Jan Lewis are very welcoming of volunteers who have a passion for helping others.  CrossLink International is a non-profit, Christian ministry that provides medical humanitarian aid. They equip medical mission teams, local free clinics and mission hospitals with customized orders of medicines, supplies and eyeglasses.

Please take a look at the CrossLink website and discover how just giving a few minutes of your time can help change the lives of so many people.
